Due to the revamp we’ve added a new few things to West Field like a new plot and a new account. We’ve been working on this for quite a while and we can finally say that it’s ready!

Everyone follow the new West Field account!

Make sure you read about the new plot on the new account & if you have any questions about it, just ask Abbie or Ellen.

As a result of the current wave of inactivity, we’ve been unable to play out our current plot as it needs the whole school to participate. We’re aware people have reasons for inactivity, but from now we’ll be tracing up them reasons and contacting those without reasons to see if they would like to keep their roles or not.
Some of you may already know this, but West Field will be closing for a week+. We have been planning and plotting a revamp, including a change of plot and biographies. This will take us a week at least, but during that time we will be promoting the roleplay as if was new. Why? The change of plot means many things, including a change of face claims and characters, so we want to welcome new people and bring back the old members.
The new plot will require relationships to alter, but all will become clear once you receive your new character bios (with the same characteristics and personality, don’t worry) which will include all relationship information. These will be distributed throughout the week, so please make sure your submit box is open. We will be sending the biographies to the characters ask box, not one of your other characters.
As well as this, some past events will either be scraped or altered. This will not change your character greatly, it just means that we have the prospect of using them events for the newer plot once we get started up.
We’re also aware people who have been playing multiple characters have come to neglect said characters. This is why this post will also be an activity check.
If you would like to keep your role, please like this post. If not, please notify us. Please, like this post from separate accounts rather than messaging us names. We need to know you still have access to that account and you will not be neglecting it. We don’t want to go through the effort of editing biographies only to have somebody not play the character.
If you have any more questions, please check out the main site. It WILL NOT be avalible to browse on until we’re ready with the new colour scheme, layout ect. But, we do have contact links for you all.
Thank you for being a part of West Field so far, this is not the end for this place. We just want to liven things up and since we’ve been around for just under a year, it’d be nice to see some new faces around here.
You have until Monday 11th of February to notify us about your roles.

Anonymous asked: 2 things, when do you start accepting again? And the text is too small on the main rp blog.

Firstly, as I have no idea how long the current apps we have received have been there (I’ve been taking on the role of all things graphics and layouts the past month, so I apologise) we wont be able to accept them until we know the applicants are still interested in the roles. If you send us a message with who you would like to apply for, we can tell you if their bio has been revamped up to our standards or not. If not, we can put that at the top of our to do list so you can see the fresher bio beforehand!

Also, I’ve altered the HTML of the theme so the text is now 12px and the font has changed because I know some people find it hard to read the previous font.

-Abbie.

Admin Note:

For the upcoming plot, some tasks have been sent out to a few characters. We ask everyone to check all of their characters ask boxes in case you have received a task. If you have, please do not discuss any aspect of the plot with another player. That means do not mention you have received a message or tell anybody you’re part of the upcoming plot. Thank you.

Admin Note:

Once again, in celebration of the New Year (yes, that’s our excuse and we’re sticking with it), we have updated our theme! Along with our new header graphic/icon comes a new colour scheme, of course. We hope you all approve of the new look as Ellen and I (Abbie) both like it. I also had a lot of fun making the graphics, teehee.

If you weren’t aware, we’re currently revamping our bios. They’re following this format and as you have all been playing your character for a long time, we’d like you all to revamp your own biographies*. If you have any problems with this, please just contact Ellen and/or I and we’d be able to help you.

*Lyrics and traits must be appropriate.

We also have a new plot coming up. Full details of this plot will be posted later in the day. Some characters will be getting messages regarding this plot, and we must ask you all to follow the guidelines well otherwise everything could get a little messed up. Gossip Girl will be an active part in this, so it would be best if you were following her.

All in all, this post was just to keep you all up to date with West Field’s revamp and hopefully motivate you to do some writing on your character’s behalf (in therms of the bio).

We hope you all had a wonderful New Year!

Levi Ellis | 19 | College Student | Aaron Johnson | OPEN

Life it seems, will fade away, drifting further every day, getting lost within myself. Nothing matters no one else. I have lost the will to live, simply nothing more to give. There is nothing more for me. Need the end to set me free.
Traits:

Humble
Down-to-earth
Uptight
Quiet
Depressed

The Story:

Levi Ellis has always been the boy in the shadows. The boy who you never see in the hallways, or hanging around the cafeteria. He never goes to social events or even is social. Levi is the boy who you didn’t even know went to your school until you were paired up with him in biology. Though Levi Ellis hid in the shadows, he was destined to see the light.
The Ellis family was a happy one many years ago. The house was always filled with love and laughter. It was like they were the picture perfect family, up until Levi’s older brother died.
Oliver Ellis was his brother’s role model. He was popular, intelligent  friendly. All the elements of an Ellis boy. Most of all, he cared about his little brother. Always letting Levi hang out and play video games with him and his friends. Oliver was the best brother anyone could ask for.
It was a hot day in Phoenix. Ten year old Levi was outside playing in the sprinkler like any normal kid. That’s when he saw his mother rush outside, hysterically crying with his father right behind her and opening the car door to drive off. Before Levi could ask what had happened, he was picked up by his uncle who was obviously holding back tears. His uncle brought him back into the house and sat him down on the couch giving him devastating news; Oliver had died in a motorcycle accident.
Levi had never been the same since then. The then cheerful and outgoing boy was transformed. He became more neurotic and paranoid. Levi never liked taking risks because look what it did to his brother? It killed him.
Nowadays, Levi spends his day as an introvert. He doesn’t like to socialize much, or get out there at all. The reason is because he doesn’t want to take the place of Oliver. He has the true personality and likability to make him a popular guy, but he feels as if that was his brother. Oliver was the Golden Boy, and Levi would never forgive himself if he took that from him. That’s why Levi is usually alone.
When Levi got his acceptance letter to West Field, he was excited though he’d never admit it. He’d always wanted to be a writer, and what better place to strengthen his skills than a school for the brilliant?

Personality:

On the outside, Levi is very quiet. He stays in the shadows and isn’t one for making conversation. Until you get to know him that is. When Levi lets you into his life, you find out many things about him. He’s extremely personable and down to earth, and it doesn’t hurt that he is so charming. Once you see this side of him, you know that Levi really thinks of you as a true friend.

Admin Note:

As belated as it may be, Merry Christmas! I would like to wish you all, on behalf of all the West Field members and admin Ellen a very happy holiday season. We hope that you’re enjoying the time you have with your family, friends and even pets and that you received everything you wanted at Christmas time. If you do not celebrate Christmas, we hope you’re enjoying the winter holidays and the remaining time left in 2012. In regards to the presents that are being sent via submission, keep them going! They’re great and very entertaining.

It is the internet, so we cant exactly hand you a box of chocolates through the screen, but as a present to all the people here we’re striving to write more bios, quicken the pace of the current revamp and to meet everybody that is part of West Field’s requests over the holiday season.

Auditions will be accepted as soon as we feel the revamp is coming along well.

Thank you all for your dedication throughout the holidays, we’re very lucky to have you roleplaying with us.

All our love, West Field’s mods x

(aka Ellen and myself, Abbie)
